It’s no secret that Chef Owner, Gary Usher doesn’t sit still for long… We’ve been pretty busy keeping up with his growing portfolio of bistros following record-breaking Kickstarter campaigns (think £50k in less than hour and the most money raised for a UK based restaurant) and raising his own profile on a national level.

Set to hit Channel 4 on 19th September 2019, an hour-long documentary follows Gary as he spends a year breaking the rules of the restaurant world. ‘The Rebel Chef: My Restaurant Revolution’ features the highs, lows (and everything in between) of Gary’s journey to bring exceptional food to the masses.


Sticky Walnut, Burnt Truffle, Hispi, Wreckfish, Pinion and Kala are lovingly referred to by Gary and team as ‘neighborhood bistros- serving unpretentious but exciting dishes alongside a really lovely atmosphere and great customer service.
