Living Ventures




Living Ventures is a leading hospitality group with venues across the North West, including Manchester’s renowned restaurants: Australasia, Sunset by Australasia and Grand Pacific, as well as Grand Pacific’s Leeds location at The Queens Hotel and Blackhouse Grill.


In 2017, LUYA worked on the highly anticipated launch of Sunset by Australasia, a stylish bar with an all-year-round outdoor terrace. Working with photographers and graphic designers, we helped bring the vision together, whilst also spreading the word to all of the key people when it came to the Manchester nightlight scene.


In 2021, we later worked on the launch of the group’s second Grand Pacific venue in Leeds, which saw us invite key press/influencers on a trip to the city via train in first-class.


As a result of our reoccurring success, we were then brought on to assist with a full 360-degree communication model across all five venues, delivering media relations, influencer management, events coordination, social media management and paid ads.



From organising on-site content days to liaising regularly with the group’s Business Development Manager to launch new concepts, we delivered on all fronts.


We worked with Manchester and Leeds’ leading foodie content creators, lifestyle influencers and celebrities to ensure we had regular promotion for each venue. In turn, we created a community of contacts who loved working with both ourselves and Living Ventures, as well as monthly influencer reach of 100K+ followers, per venue.


For media relations, we ensured we had regular content with the likes of Secret Manchester, Manchester’s Finest, Manchester Evening News, The Hoot in Leeds and The Yorkshire Press. This ensured the right publications were in the loop with each venue’s monthly events, limited menus for reviews and promotions. We also saw features in national titles such as The Times, The Guardian, HELLO! and The Sun.


On the social front, a combination of tried-and-tested content creation, regular performance summaries and monitoring, exclusive giveaways and integrated paid ads saw us achieve overall increases in page reach, followers and link clicks. Key results included a 200% increase in Instagram followers for Sunset and a 100% rise in engagement for Grand Pacific, Leed through paid ads.
