INTRODUCING LINDEN STORES 3.0

THE BRIEF

Previously located in Islington, followed by Audlem in Cheshire most recently, Linden Stores is a restaurant and wine bar that recently opened its third iteration in the heart of Knutsford.

Owned and run by partners Laura Christie, co-founder of Oklava, Shoreditch and Chris Boustead, formerly of London’s Opera Tavern and Ten Bells, Linden Stores is an intimate and relaxed venue which showcases seasonal British food with an exciting selection of wines.

LUYA was brought on board to put together a successful PR plan towards promotion across both pre- and post-opening communications to spread awareness of the restaurant’s opening date and engage with key contacts on a local, regional and national scale.

THE RESULTS

We immediately put together a seamless plan to deliver bread and butter PR within a 4-month period, from October 2023 to February 2024.

The team drafted initial press releases to announce the new location, followed by the opening date, which saw instant interest and excitement around the soft launch. Working with Laura and Chris, we put together media briefing documents for profiling to national and trade publications for expert commentary, Q&As, recipes and thought-led pieces. We also provided creative support towards graphic design, photography and website copy.

As we moved full steam ahead, Linden Stores saw reservations fill up rapidly and a demand for reviews to take place throughout the first month of opening.

To date, national and trade coverage includes: The Caterer, Restaurant, Olive Magazine, The Boutique Handbook, Hardens, Propel and The Business Desk. Whilst closer to home, regional titles include profile-led features in Cheshire Life, as well as reviews by the likes of The Manc, Taste Cheshire, Knutsford Guardian and Manchester Confidentials.
