The Brief

Archwood Group is a family owned, professionally run, leading manufacturer of timber products with two trading brands: Richard Burbidge and Atkinson & Kirby.

Richard Burbidge is a manufacturer and supplier of stairparts, decking accessories and decorative mouldings, whilst Atkinson & Kirby supplies premium hardwood flooring.

Over the years, we have worked on media relations for both brand’s to to help grow their status as industry leaders. This includes growing awareness of each brand’s product ranges, sustainability ethos and expanding reach within the Architecture & Design sector.

The Results

In 2021, we created a partnership with one the UK’s leading paint brands, COAT Paints to showcase some of the year’s top sustainable interior design schemes with a range of trend-led shades.

With sustainability and quality design at the forefront of the company’s ethos, COAT was the perfect brand to collaborate with. The partnership allowed customers to select the perfect complementary paint shades to match their flooring, wall panelling or staircase transformations. The imagery featured nationally in the likes of Self Build & Design.

Starting the Race to Net Zero

Archwood Group recently joined the United Nations’ Race to Zero campaign, a global initiative which encourages businesses to pledge to reach Net Zero by no later than 2050. Since then, we have shared awareness of the business’ sustainability goals and achievements with regional, national and trade coverage totalling over 2.5M in reach.

Interior Experts…

We’ve achieved regular national coverage is several of the UK’s leading interior design magazines including Real Homes, Ideal Home and Livingetc, with the Atkinson & Kirby and Richard Burbidge teams becoming go-to contacts for expert commentary.
