It’s been a whole year since LUYA landed – and what a year. From our very own podcast to countless events, coverage and a fair few famous faces, we’ve loved every minute.
When we launched in June 2018, we never imagined we’d triple in size within 12 months, but that’s exactly what happened – and now we’re looking for more team members to hop on board.
Our whirlwind first year has seen us shortlisted for two awards, secure a host of new clients, stage more than 30 events and work with famous names including Gloria Hunniford, Julia Bradbury, Gregg Wallace and celebrity chef Tom Kerridge. Meanwhile, our popular podcast, The Lowdown, has been downloaded thousands of times.
Creativity… and coffee!
We couldn’t have asked for a better first year, but it was no fluke. Our success is down to the creativity, hard work and imagination of our team – and lots of strong coffee, too.
And while it’s fantastic we’ve achieved so much, the real sign of our success is the results we’ve delivered for our clients in the North West and across the UK.
Looking to the future, we’ll build on this momentum by taking on more staff and continuing to do exceptional work for every business we work with.

As well as having a strong presence in Cheshire and the North West, we work throughout the UK and internationally to launch and promote businesses, brands, products and services. From PR and marketing to digital, design and events, our fast-growing agency can offer you a full package of services to raise your profile, drive traffic and create noise.
Working in a diverse range of sectors – from retail and property, to fashion, lifestyle, and food and drink – our clients include Gary Usher’s Elite Bistros restaurant group, and The Ice Cream Farm, one of the UK’s most visited free-to-enter attractions. We also work withthe 5* Chester Grosvenor Hotel, Chester Racecourse, and award-winning Chester-based telecoms and IT firm, Vivio.
From bars to bikes
We’ve led a host of head-turning events including the launch of terrace bar ‘Sunset by Australasia’, hailed the ‘most Instagrammable new spot in Manchester’. Meanwhile, we worked with luxury retirement living provider Inspired Villages Group to make their Inspired 1,000 Mile Challenge a big success, raising almost £30,000 for Mind in the process.
Most recently we launched Liverpool’s most inclusive culinary dining experience, Duke Street Market, inviting more than 400 journalists, influencers and VIPs. And another highlight has to be working with legendary TV fitness instructor Mr Motivator – the only man who can get away with wearing neon Lycra!
Plus, we were shortlisted for ‘Small PR Agency of the Year’ in the Prolific North Awards and for ‘Influencer/Outreach Campaign of the Year’ in the UK Content Awards.

What next?
A massive thank you to all our clients and friends for making the last 12 months so incredible.
The next year is set to be even better, with more exciting events lined up, such as Elite Bistros’ next venture in Leeds and Inspired Villages’ Parkfest – believed to be the UK’s first festival aimed at over-65s – and much, much more.
