Fashion x Interior Design

Whether we like to admit it or not, most of us follow certain trends. From what we wear to how we decorate our homes, everything is intertwined.

The importance of interior design can’t go unnoticed, with a number of fashion designers partnering with home brands as of late, including luxury kitchen design company, LANSERRING and designer, Jenny Packham.

This convergence of worlds can be also seen in the high street, with Zara recently integrating some of their homeware items into their main site, H&M and Arket also do the same, with some patterns even crossing over from clothing to crockery.

The message coming from both fashion and interiors buying fewer, better quality items for your home and for your wardrobe.

Whilst trends in women’s wear have dominated décor styles, clean, modern looks, inspired by men’s fashion are making a comeback, goodbye rose gold and millennial pink, hello black metals and neutral tones. The new interior style is all about simplicity and sophistication and of course, there’s a new wave of ‘interior influencers’ to demonstrate this.

Take a look at some of our favourite collaborations below:

Jackson & Levine x Habitat

Presenters and supper club duo, Laura Jackson and Alice Levine partnered with homeware brand Habitat earlier this year on a range of serveware, which sold out in just three hours. Fear not, they are bringing out a second collection next week (17th October).

Ikea x Virgil Abloh

Virgil Abloh is an American fashion designer, artistic director of Louis Vuitton’s men’s wear collection and also chief executive officer of the Milan-based label Off-White.

His collaboration with Ikea has been teased for over a year and is set to launch in November, key items include a huge rug in the pattern of an Ikea receipt and chair propped up with a doorstop… each to their own.

LANSERRING x Jenny Packham

LANSERRING has partnered Jenny Packham to design a conceptual personal dressing space, centred around the united notion of transformation, from transforming a room into an intimate sanctuary, to the physical and emotional transformation of adorning an intricate Jenny Packham design.
